Saeed Ajmal alleges he was reported for a suspect action only after Shane Watson had been seen speaking to the umpires during the match. The positive for Ajmal is that both Harbhajan and Murali have previously been reported for their doosras and subsequently cleared.

All the players above came back to play after undergoing tests. Not on the list are Murali and now Johan Botha of South Africa and Saeed Ajmal.

I didn’t think that skin colour had anything to do with illegal bowling actions but I guess the list above tells a different story. May be it’s the actions of the authorities that are suspect.

As for Shane Watson, I rated him but for him to get involved like this is a shame. After making 0 and misfielding in the 3rd ODI, may be Shane should concentrate more on his own game.
