Aussies get special treatment

It’s just been announced that Pakistan will play five ODIs and a Twenty20 against Australia in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Can somebody ask Cricket Australia about what Sri Lanka are currently doing in Pakistan?

A Test series will follow sometime this year although PCB Chairman has already hinted at the fact that it will not take place in Pakistan by suggesting England as a replacement venue. They may as well just book it now.

Why the special treatment for the Aussies? This is clear proof of Imran Khan’s point about Pakistan suffering because of this “War on Terror”.

Schedule:
April 22: 1st ODI (Dubai)
April 24: 2nd ODI (Dubai)
April 27: 3rd ODI (Abu Dhabi)
May 1: 4th ODI (Abu Dhabi)
May 3: 5th ODI (Abu Dhabi)
May 7: Twenty20 (Dubai)

To be honest I wouldn’t mind the Test over here in England but I do agree that there is something wrong when Sri Lanka can play in Pakistan and Australia refuse yet nobody raises an issue.

How the ICC can sit back and do nothing is beyond belief. This is just another example of how useless they are. Why have they not put any pressure on Australia to adhere to their commitments and responsibilities and tour Pakistan?

I think the PCB had to accept really….they were between a rock and a hard place. Pakistan needs cricket and Aussies know that so they can call the shots in effect.

Yes Uncle but like dahda said, ICC should be doing something about it because it’s just not fair. How can Australia justify avoiding playing in Pakistan when Sri Lanka are there right now? ICC is a joke organisation.
